A slew of new fashion trends has been spotted at fashion weeks around the world. Whether you’re into layering cut-out tops, bright green hues, or cowgirl hats, there’s something for everyone. Be sure to check out street style inspiration and Instagram feeds for more style. These are the top fashion trends we’re predicting for the upcoming season.

1. Color Blocking

Color blocking is back in style this season. This involves wearing bold, bright colors that clash. You can try mixing warm shades like orange and pink or stick to cool tones such as green and blue. Wearing a duo-chrome ensemble is the most popular choice, but you can also add a third or fourth hue to the mix for a more complex look. Instead of adding colors to your clothes, try a bold hat, bag, or shoes for a pop.

2. Black Cut-Out Tops

This season’s cut-out tops are a daring, but excellent addition to any wardrobe. They can be worn in any season, with many different pieces to create an interesting ensemble. For example, try wearing a cut-out top with a suit. This is the perfect outfit for the office or running around the city. The contrast between the structured tailoring and the strappy, abstract shirt is perfect for a transitional season.

3. Corset Belts

The corset belt trend has been around for a while, but it always comes back every few seasons. This type of belt, which cinches in the waist, goes well with many different types of clothing. This year, we are seeing corset belts worn with knitted tops, cropped pants, and separates. Some of the most popular corset belts are made by designers such as Loewe, who create hourglass-shaped belts with a peplum (flounce or overskirt) extending out from the waist. Burlesque-style corset belts are also popular in the fashion world and are often worn with T-shirts, roll-neck tops, and dresses. If your outfit includes an attention-grabbing item, you won’t need to add extra accessories like necklaces and earrings.

4. Cowgirl Hats

As cowboy boots came into popularity, it’s only natural that hats join the trend, too. This versatile accessory looks great when color-blocking or accentuating a simple outfit on a day with your friends. Worn with a suit of a similar shade, it can add some extra complexity to an outfit without feeling too overdone. Slightly camp but totally fashionable, it’s become a mainstay for lovers of Gucci’s aesthetic. Try it with a mix of tailored shirts, leather jackets, and oversized blazers.

5. Green All Over

Started the season with, or the special edition Nike air max 720, and you’re sure to have all eyes on you. Green is the color of choice this season, with many designers showcasing various shades of green in their collections. The color can be styled in many different ways, whether you go for a head-to-toe look with a single hue or mix and match different shades. Try green as a dress, blazer, and roll-neck combo, or a pair of patchwork trousers with a casual t-shirt. With the right shoes, you’re sure to turn heads no matter what you wear.

6. Head to Toe Denim

Although the double-denim trend has had its ups and downs in terms of fashion, it can be pulled off amazingly if done right. For this season, go for an oversized jacket with either patchwork or vintage flare jeans – flares are made a comeback recently. If you want more of a 60s vibe, try a mini skirt with some colored stockings or a long coat. You don’t have to limit yourself to one color either – mix different fabric tones for a more complex look. What was once referred to as the Canadian tuxedo has become a staple in everyone’s wardrobe. The Canadian tuxedo, a combination of a denim jacket and denim pants, has been worn by celebrities and fashion icons alike. The Canadian tuxedo is a versatile and stylish piece of clothing that can be dressed up or down.

7. Hot Pink Coats

It was kicked off by Versace last year and has since been featured as the hero hue for Valentino, Barbie x Balmain, and other designers this season. You can replicate the style in your everyday wardrobe with a coat or jacket. It’s easy to style with other colors, but you can also match it with a classic white tee or singlet, printed trousers, boots, or a mini skirt. We’ve seen plenty of celebs following the trend on the red carpet and out in the street.

8. Metallic Leather Bags

Fashion lovers need a stunning bag in their collection, and these metallic pieces are intended to stand out. You can wear it with almost anything, from a casual ensemble to something a little bit fancier. Gold shades work well with warm shades, but you can find something on the opposite side of the color wheel – blue or green – and work it to your advantage. Similarly, while silver is typically reserved for cooler hues, it looks amazing paired with bright pink, red, and mustard. The glossy leather often reflects light when you’re walking around, so you don’t need to wear a lot of other jewelry. Basically, it’s a piece of wearable art.

9. Ostrich Feather Outfits

An ostrich feather moment is an attention-getting outfit choice that is bold, outlandish, and extravagant. You can wear ostrich feathers in a variety of styles, depending on the occasion, from bodysuits to dresses. If you usually rely on the “jeans and a nice top” look when going out, an ostrich feather moment should be your next purchase. Try wearing ostrich feathers as a jacket with trousers and pointy-toe heels for a night out when you want to feel a little extra. You can also be creative with your color combinations. This is the perfect opportunity to try out some color blocking or experiment with different textures.

10. Pop Color Suits

If you’re looking to add some excitement to your wardrobe, go for a pop of color. These fashion-forward suits come in a variety of bold, bright shades that are sure to enhance your aesthetic. Popular choices include purple, azure blue, and lime green. You can style these colors together in a color-blocking theme, or keep it monochrome with a corresponding hue. Even adding black or white to your outfit can give it a bolder look. With such vibrant colors coming from your clothing, you can keep the accessories fairly minimal, choosing simple jewelry and shoes.
